Bringing Hope Behind Bars

Transforming lives through faith, compassion, and community in Houston's correctional facilities

Our Mission

Prison Ministry & Outreach (PMO) is dedicated to sharing God's love and hope with incarcerated individuals across Houston. We believe that no one is beyond redemption, and every person deserves a second chance. Through our ministry, we provide spiritual guidance, emotional support, and practical resources to help inmates transform their lives.

Ready to Make a Difference?

Join us in bringing hope, healing, and transformation to those who need it most.

Our outreach ministry extends far beyond the prison walls. We believe that transformation happens not only inside correctional facilities but also in the communities that welcome individuals back. Through various programs and initiatives, we serve families, support reentry efforts, and build bridges of hope throughout Houston.

01

Family Support Services

We provide counseling, prayer support, and practical assistance to families affected by incarceration. Our team connects families with resources, hosts support groups, and helps maintain family bonds during separation. We understand that when someone is incarcerated, their entire family serves the sentence.

02

Reentry Assistance Program

Successful reintegration is crucial for breaking the cycle of incarceration. We partner with local organizations to provide job training, housing assistance, legal aid, and mentorship. Our volunteers walk alongside formerly incarcerated individuals as they rebuild their lives and reconnect with their communities.

03

Community Education

We host workshops, seminars, and awareness events to educate the community about the challenges faced by incarcerated individuals and their families. By breaking down stigma and fostering understanding, we create a more compassionate and supportive Houston community.

04

Youth Prevention Programs

Prevention is key to reducing incarceration rates. We work with at-risk youth in Houston, providing mentorship, life skills training, and positive role models. Through partnerships with schools and community centers, we help young people make better choices and avoid the path to prison.

05

Church Partnerships

We collaborate with churches across Houston to expand our reach and impact. These partnerships enable us to provide worship services, discipleship programs, and community events that welcome formerly incarcerated individuals into loving faith communities.
